Frederick William Swords

July 26, 1940 - March 22, 2009

Age 69 of Columbiaville, formerly of Oxford and Rochester March 22, 2009.

Survived by Beatrice Bisett, his daughters; Melanie Swords and Janet Swords, grandchildren; Dwight and Olivia Beverly and Mitchell Formiller,

siblings; James and Martha Swords of Pontiac.

Preceded in death by his parents; Oliver C. Swords and Helen Cobb Swords, brothers; Dwight H. Swords, and Oliver K. Swords, sister; Sally (Swords) Moore.

Frederick was retired from GM Truck & Bus after 35 years. He was a Master Gardner and a member of the Michigan Thumbponders, Eastern Michigan Hosta Society, and the Lapeer County Horticultural Society.

A funeral service from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Bossardet Chapel, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. Memorials to the Lapeer County Horticultural Society or Display Garden on Suncrest Contribution 287 W.
